Flat rate time on just regulator replace is around 2 hrs.
But other test that go with regulator replacement.
Computer electrical Diagnostic and fuel pressure test is around 1.5 hrs
Injector balance test another 1/2 hr.
Has it been proper tested for a bad fuel pressure regulator problem and is them test included in the regulator replacement time?
If so you could be up to 4 hrs on it.

It is not a real hard job.
Good repair manual and a few tools will do it.
Check S-10 forum for how to on it.
Good Luck
And let us know how it goes.
