Rethread Tyres

Hi,
I have a Nissan FB-15 and am based in the Tropics (Kenya) where we do not have any winters. Yes, good rain is there from time-to-time.
My question is about road safety.
My tyres are nerly worn-out and am intending to have them re-thread. My current tyres are the tube-less type and since I want to have them re-thread, is it safe to continue using them without tubes, or should I have tubes put in?
Regards.

In my own opinion,it's better to used a new thread tire...because of it's good grip on the road...
