Front Door Speaker Mounting Plate

Does anyone have a picture of the plate i need to mount 5 1/4's in the doors? If at all possible maybe a template of it so i can cut one, is it 1/2 inch or 3/4 inch plywood? Im replacing the 4x6's, with alpine type R 5.25's Thanx for any help, CavZ24R

i got tha 5 1/4s in my doors and i got a metal mounting plates...i'll get a picture for you as soon as i can...i'm changin my speakers too...i had mtx 2000 5 1/4" speakers but i'm gotta put my infinity kappas in

you could always go down to your local stereo install store and they can most likely either make one or order one for you. The best way i think would be to get a fiberglass one custom built for your specific speakers and door panel.
I plan on doing that later this year aswell.
