Request it? No need to, I'm sure they will produce this one too in their range of GT-R's.

Great, just what we need - the 135th skyline kit!

It's rather surprising how rarely Tamiyasama answers email. It almost borders upon inconsiderate, or even rude! Kit suggestions, requests for advice on personal matters, chain emails, reference requests, love letters- the dude just doesn't get back to me as often as he should. I mean we're tight and all, but sometimes he makes me feel like he's not even listening to me! :disappoin :crying:

Hahaha. Sorry to break the news gentlemen, Tamiya now only produces one new car kit a year, probably because Fujimi hired all of their engineers (pure speculation). Any next car they produce better be something good, i.e. something I want to build (sorry, I'm being selfish).

If this car is excepted as a Le Mans entry Tamiya will make it.

Ain't that the truth!

And I'd still buy it...if it actually races and has a decent livery.

I have requested to Tamyia, Aoshima, and Lindberg to create a replica of a 2006 Nissan Altima SE-R, so if any of you would contact them with a vote of support I would greatly appreciate that.

I wouldn't hold my breath on that. If a major manufacturer ever really does put out a plastic kit of an Altima, I'll eat one raw with chop sticks and soy sauce. :licka:

And I'm beginning to think the same about that F1.

???

Take care there were lots of new F1 plastic kits in 2008 and there is a new one coming from Fujimi in February this year!

Where do I send you the chopsticks and the soy sauce? :naughty:
The main dish ( F1 kits) you'll have to order it yourself as I'm going to build mine! ;)

One wonders if he wasn't thinking of the McLaren F1 (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McLaren_F1) ;)

He's not. He told me to tell you to leave him alone!! It's because of you that he couldn't focus enough on the latest GT-R kit to provide a whole engine instead of just the upper-half! :disappoin Now leave him alone! We have a Gran Turismo 2 Showdown to tend to!!!

I didn't ask if anyone thought that Tamiya, Aoshima, or Lindberg would ever put out a model of a Nissan Altima SE-R. I just asked if there is anyone, like myself, who would like to see an Altima as a scale reproduction, to write to those companies and tell them so. I'm sure if there is enough intrest in it, that one of them would do one.
