Replacing Fuel pump

I need to replace the fuel pump in my 98 Lumina and was wondering how exactly to do that. I know I will have to drop the gas tank, but I have no idea how to do that and what else is involved. If anyone could provide specifics, I would appreciate it. Pictures would be helpful/appreciated :smile:

This is not any easy job laying on the floor/ground, pretty good info at autozone.com repair guides.

drain the gas tank and be careful of the ring the secures the fuel pump in the gas tank. There are electrical connections on top of the gas tank as well care full not to stretch out or break the connectors. A floor jack will become your best friend.
