Hiya fellas. Haven't posted any progress in a while. I've managed to fully complete the engine, transmission, and about 95% of the chassis. I've test fitted the body as well. I did have it painted in Testor's blue, but it looked terrible, so it's been stripped and painted in Tamiya white primer for now. Soon to be Tamiya Blue.

I'm ashamed of myself now. I should've started my 356 project with the Enthusiast series kit instead of Revell's Speedster. :(
It looks great though. I love the weathering on the exhaust.

Beautiful detailing!! Is that flat red on the seats - they look so real! And how did you get the rest of the seat (the beige colour) so textured?

Hi fellas, thanks for the comments.
You're right, the seats are Testor's flat red laid on thick. The beige/tan areas are testor's tan covered with Testor's velour flocking carpet material.
I'm plenty good at the interior stuff, not as talented in painting the exterior :)

The scale is 1/24, and the model is a Fujimi Porsche 356 Carrera 2. I'm building it in "C" configuration.
Most of the detail is Fujimi's...picked out using painting.
The only things added were proper rubber floormats, velour carpet material, and the ignition wires on the Carrera engine.
I also drilled out and thinned the horn vents as well, since they looked terrible molded in.
Thanks for the comments, it's mostly just good research, a love for the subject, and patience.
