06 Maxx Wheel Hub Issues

I can't remove the wheel hub. I have removed the three bolts from behind the spindle and also the axle nut. I rented a hub puller and it didn't budge the hub, although I did stop because I was afraid of putting more pressure on the axel than I wanted to and it stripped the center bolt of the hub puller. Yeah I was cranking it that hard.

Any clues or hints (illustrated walkthrough would be awesome)? I read that I need an air hammer/zip gun or slide hammer to remove the hub. Does anybody have pictures of this process? I am too far in the job to take it anywhere, I think I actually did damage to the axel all ready because it went back into the hub assembly and is now cockeyed in there and won't move.

Sorry to ramble, but I need some options from more experienced shadetree or expert mechanics. Thanks.
