It's been a long time since I've posted here, so I thought I'd show you all what I have been up to.
This is built from the AMT kit, very poor. After 1.5 years, 7 paint jobs, this one is finally complete. This one was my nemesis, but I beat it eventually.
The body had all badges and door handles removed along with the quarter window.
The colour is Tamiya TS-58 Pearl Light Blue, with Tamiya Clear.
The interior is painted with Tamiya Racing White, detailed with painted wooden inserts in the dash, dark blue door panels, and blue pinstriping on the seats.
The engine is taken from a Mustang Funny Car kit, detailed with injection piping, Detail Master braided hose and wired distributor kit.
Made mufflers out of aluminium and painted flat black. Engine was painted with Alclad Polished Aluminium.
Kit chrome was replaced with Alclad Chrome and BMF.
Wheels are Pegasus Monster T's with valves added.
This was the first time I used Alclad, I actually bought an airbrush specifically for this purpose, and I am glad I did.

That's a great looking car. The stance and fittment of the wheels look perfect to me. Keep up the good work.

That's a great looking model. One thing I don't like though is the front lights? Can you replace the chrome molded lights with some from the Monogram kit or are they different sizes? Otherwise I love it!

Fantastic work, I like the details of the engine (though it is not my style) and the body color also. The rims are a good choice too, congrats.
