You need a steering wheel puller to remove the wheel.

Well they are pressed on, and you really need a puller to do the job right.
But, sometimes you can pull the wheel off by putting both of your forearms behind the wheel and striking the wheel towards you.
Its hard to explain w/o showing you but this may help.
Though I don't reccomend doing it this way, as you could damage the threads on the upper sterring shaft or deform your wheel.
Bottom line use a puller you can buy them for as little a 5.00 dollars.

If you have a autozone where you are you can rent the puller for $10, and when you return it you get your money back.;) As for the door take the door panel of and make sure everything is all hooked up.:coolguy:
