I have only 64,000 miles on my 2001 Acura. The service manual says to replace the timing belt at 105,000 or 7 years. Which is more important? Should I replace it now because of time or wait?

Which ever comes first....the rubber can start cracking from age as well as miles. Is it worth damaging you engine because you want to be cheap?

I have a 2000 3.2TL and I had the timing belt replaced at 100K miles. While at it I also had the water pump replaced. More than likely the timing belt will last the life of the engine. I had a '85 Nissan 250SX which lasted 250K miles without its timing belt ever changed. I eventually sold it. However, if you are anxious and you have the money, I'm sure the Acura mechanics will be more than happy to accomodate you. It'll cost you a pretty penny.
