03 drum brakes freezing....

Hello i have an 03 4x4 edge and the rear drums have froze twice this year after parking it after light rain that eventually froze. They froze so bad the one day I could not move it. In the summer they stick a little when its moist out. Is there a way to prevent this? Thanks Derek

if three is freezing look at the back if drum see if you see a ajuster hole if so you need to put the rubber plugs that go's there and when looking look at the top and bottom to see if you can find the hole for the ajuster. that is if thats whats causing lock up?

Okay at the bottom is a slot about an inch long and a fourth of an inch tall on both sides that is not covered. I know it recently had brake work done prior to me buying it. So there is suppose to be a plug cover over this. Any ideas where to get one? Thanks! Derek

It takes a rubber plug in the adjusting hole. If it just had work done chances are they were left out. Any place where very much brake work is done would give you some for the asking.
