hey, i would like to know everyone here ...on how much they spend on there car so far.....starting from the buying of the 4th gen to itself now..like bodykits to like swaps..etc..how much have u spend total..!!!i wanna see if i pass u guys or i need to start catchin yup. or see if im spending to much on my 4th gen....well hit it up....

i spent $1404 on my 89dx sedan after tax, title, and liscense.....i spent $900 on a shitty paint job and body work and $60 on a shift biooot and knob....everything else was bday or christmas

that includes my 91 hatch, ls swap, dc header for ls, blaster coil 2, bull frog ecu for ls, cai, coilovers, tach, straight pipe, clear lenses, shortshifter, hyperflasher, alot of other little stuff

Probably around 12gs of our Canadian money.... Probably more if I really thought about it.

$2750 for the hatch (It WAS pristine) about $600 on engine work and parts for current motor.
$200 for alighnment, $340 for fenders, $750 for new engine, $840 for pistons and rods, $1100 for block machine work and new bearing + assembly... Nore than that, but thats were Im at so far. Oh, I had spent $5240 on a stereo but I sold it already, it was to heavy.
So just a rough estimate, $11,840... :eek: I will be puting at least another $3000 into the engine before it hits my car... I will probably be pushing well into the $16000 range :( My car probably looks the shitiest here!
