4 wheel drive boot tear

My 01 supercrew has a tear in the inner boot on theshaft going to the wheel. In all my years ive never dealt with this.Im gonna buy the part and just start tearing apart,.. Just wondering if theres any secrets i should know about or do i just start at hub assembly and start taking apart.. THANKS DAVE

Has noone done this before or is there no surprises. Just dont wanna get n the middle and find something out...
