98, p/s fluid question=

checking the power steering fluid level. do you clean the dip stick and screw it in after you insert it. or just dip it in and read it.

You can clean it off, but what i do is just pull it out and get to some light to see where the liquid is landing on. I mean everyone does it differently. I guess it wouldnt matter if you cleaned it off and then screwed it back on and take it off to confirm level. I guess that would be a better "sure" way to know if your low or not.
