Hi,
I have a 00 Disc II with 107k miles. I am driving the car in extreme sand storm conditions in The Middle East. This a U.S car that i shipped here 5 months ago. I have no access to an equivlent of Autozone to do a free check with the machine to find out what's causing the Check Engine Light. I don't want to just assume it's an O2 sensor. I had a dodge intrepid and i used to check the codes by just turning the ignition key and watch for blinking lights. Can you do the same with the Discovery? i also know that the gas cap can trigger the check engine light. It's in place and tight.
