i ordered one from a junkyard (in alabama, i think, but not sure) who was selling parts online. i called them and asked if they had a good condition 5spd for my escort. they had a few, and they pulled it and sent it and the speedometer, etc, to me for 200 dollars, plus 50 or 60 for shipping. 61k miles. worked like a charm, and very professional service. unfrunately, cant recall the name. they sold stuff on ebay as well, including transmissions, so that might be a place to start looking.
