I have been a chevy guy my whole life but am looking to buy an 03-05 nissan sentra 1.8. Are there any common problems with these cars that I should now about before I buy one so I can be ready for it when it happens? Are these cars very expensive to maintain? Any other info would be greatly appreciated as well. And I did read the Sentra Sticky I was just wondering if there was anything else I might need to know.

you might want to take a pick at a different car. its inevitable that this car will get a headgasket problem. there is that and the pre-cat breaking up and going back into the motor ruining everything as well.
otherwise, if its all good, its easy to maintain as long as you follow the schedule.
