1997 Gtp Drl

Hello. I have a GTP. The daytime running lights are not working. I checked the fuse and it is not blown. I have the knob in the off position. I looked in my manual and it says that there is a sensor. I'm not sure where it is to make sure it is not covered. My dash lights stay on so I don't think it is the bulb actually. Can someone guide me in the right direction to resolve this. Thanks,

the sensor is on your dash right next to the vent for the windshield defroster.

The drl modle is on the driver side under the coloum to the left it a black box with two plugs going to it.
