4g63 engionge to different trans?

wats is a good rear wheel drigve transmission that would bolt up to the 4g63 i was thinking a nissan ka trans but dont want to spend the moeny on it and find out it dosent work....just wondering bc i want to convert my gst to rear wheel drive just for the heck of it for sumthing different and dont worry i kno wat i hav to do to do this just want to kno if ne 1 knos wat trans would work or b nice to use

I'll post here as well, for the archives. Any tranny can be bolted up if you make an adapter. Currently adapters exist for GM trannies and Toyotas as well. That means GM autos, and GM or GM flanged 5 speeds. Both auto and manual Toyotas should bolt up as well. I can't think of the source on the Toyota adapters, but the guy's name is Bill Hincher.
Whatever you decide to bolt up, just be sure it will take the power. It would suck to go through all the trouble just to have the tranny blow up.
