2002 Xterra Strange Brake Problem...

Hi everyone, I'm new to this board but have visited frequently.. I'm hoping someone can help me out with this one. It's one of those "Service tech at the dealership can't find the problem" problems..
I have an '02 Xterra 4x4, V6 Automatic with 10,000 miles on it. I've been having a problem with my brakes since the vehicle had 6,000 miles on it, which I brought it to the dealership twice and they cannot duplicate the problem I am having.
After the vehicle is parked on a FLAT surface for more than about 4 hours this problem happens, not parked on a hill or parked for a short period of time. After starting the vehicle and putting it into Drive, when the brake pedal is depressed to slowly exit a parking spot or driveway or wherever, the vehicle makes a loud screeching noise and jerks back and forth. Only after pumping the brake softly several times while riding for a few minutes does it then act normally. This happens quite often, and it's actually very unsafe, because when it jerks back and forth, the vehicle doesn't come to a stop.. I have also noticed when driving that the front wheels squeek both when driving and braking, but the brake pads are not worn down, as I have checked them myself as well..
I had them check the ABS, and that is working properly..
Has anyone had this happen? Does anyone have any suggestions? Please help! I would appreciate it.
thank you!

maybe try a shop other than the dealership. a shop that deals specifically in brakes like midas.

Try another dealership nearby if you can!
