Oil that is on the upper end of the spark plugs is not a problem I would bother to fix. Its just a sign that the tubes the plugs fit down into are no longer sealed from the oil inside the camcover - due to the rubbers seals at the bottom of the tube getting old and hardened from the heat.
With the cam cover off though, you can put new rubber seals on the bottoms of those tubes. The seals probably come with a new cam cover gasket, or can be bought at any decent auto parts place.
Not having done it myself, I think you just pull the tubes straight out.

If oil is leaking behind valve cover near the headers, its the oil pressure sending unit.

Thats an easy fix and i hope that is your problem.

you need to replace valve stim seals sounds like to me if there is oil on the outside of the plugs. you have to have air to hold up the valve while replacing them. if you don't know what your doing you should get a mccanic that know's what there doing or you can run into big problems. so if you know a mccanic friend see if he can help you. or get a haynes manul and it will walk you threw it....good luck...

easy fix, replace the spark plug tube seals, and valve cover gasket.. don't forget to apply engine sealant on the corners or all places there are points
