2000 limited vs laredo

I have a 2000 gc limited, I'm looking to put a westin grille guard on the front was informed that it would not fit the limited but would fit the laredo, what are the differences, if any between the front ends of the two, they look like there made the same to me, just that the limited has painted bumpers where the laredo doesent
