Welcome to AF, I started a new thread here as you tacked onto an unrelated issue. The labor is around 2 hours, local labor rates all vary, call a parts house for a parts price.

I was just searching this forum for the special tool required, J-46406, to get the water pump and the fan clutch seperated. I called the GM dealer to get the info you requested. Chiltons says 3.2 hours at $91.00 per hour, $160.00 for the water pump and $50.00 in "shop supplies"......so right around $500.00 for the job.
Autozone has the "lifetime" pump (you spend your lifetime changing them) for $50.00 but they did not have any tools (for this fan clutch) that would hold the pump so you could loosen the fan clutch......Has anyone done this before and are there any suggestions for a sub for the tool before I spend $130.00 to get one........

50.00 for shop material, that's BS. Anyway I got it off by using a bar of the correct length blocked against one of the pulley bolts, then I was able to loosen the clutch

Might pay to get a All data online sub.
It has all of the repair proceduresand tools required and labor and parts information.

the waterpump had gotten so bad that the fan was wobbling out and hitting the shroud so I had to stop messing around to find a tool that worked. I found a "universal" tool on Amazon, Lisle # 42920.....It worked like a champ. The chiltons manual said 3 hours....this was my first time And I did it in 2.5. By the way, is there a better way to drain the radiator than pulling the lower hose and taking a glycol bath....... I am sure this won't be my last time to do this job.....the original lasted 50K miles

I use a "chain vice grip" to hold the pulley in place- and I siphon the coolant out- never touch the drain plug- don't trust them to ever reseal again or not break off.....hardest part on that Trailblazer was getting the shroud out along with the fan-
