Clutch Fluid Leak?

I'm losing clutch fluid ( DOT3 ) very slowly and have to constantly top off the master cylinder ( 93 Wrangler, 4.0, 75K miles ). Clutch works like a 'champ' with a DOT 3 fill. Obviously a leak of sorts. Can this problem be fixed without drop'n the trans?

Please advise.

Thanks everyone for your advise. I still can't figure out the problem. I did confirm that the clutch slave is within the clutch housing ( I have a '94 Jeep ). It appears that I only develope a 'softness' in the clutch pedal during cold weather! Today I placed a board on the clutch pedal to keep it depressed. NO LOSS OF FLUID! Reservoir remains full and I see no DOT 3 leakage. I have seen no leakage below the master or on the interior firewall. I hope the slave is not leaking withing the housing - big $$$$$ to drop the trans for a slave leak!

Any thoughts?

easy fix there are two main things to look for a leak the clutch master, or clutch slave. remove boot from clutch slave and inspect for any leaks from it. it's bolted to the side of the trans

If its the slave cylinder, and it probably is,bad news.93 is the last year the slave cylinder is in the bell housing. Its on the input shaft of the trans,so you would have to pull the trans.Just look at the bottom of the bell housing,it's probably wet with fluid.

Well i have a 87 jeep YJ and it has a problem similar to yours, the cluch leaks dot 3 like crazy i beed it and it works 100% mint but after a days use it gets air in the line and dosn't fully ingage, thus causing it to snap in gear, i do believe you have to drop the tranny on mine the 87 not sure about yours thought dose anyone know what i have to do for a fix? i can wiggle the lines from the outside of the cluch houseing i dont know if its just a loose connecting thats causing the leak or something elece is wrong.
