Just got it for $1,500. It has no motor or transmission, but we're buying a 383 stroker for $1,500 later today.

Came with brand new black bench seats, but other that that pretty much the whole interior needs to be re-done. Rim's are 20"s I think. We're not in a rush, we figure we'll finish it in about a year or so. We = me and my dad btw.

Welcome to AF!
Nice car! That was one of the best bodystyles. I have been looking for one like this '67-'68 Fastback. Something about those classic bodylines. There isn't much left up here in NY in decent shape unfortunately.
I'm moving this thread to Muscle Cars > Chevrolet forum as it is more appropriate. This Impala forum mainly derves owners of 2000 on up FWD models.
Good lick with your "new" car!

Nice car and a good find.
Around here, nobody would have pulled a driveline and some trim out of a body that nice. The complete car would be worth too much to part out like that.

Bought the 383 stroker, picking it up when I'm back from New York on the 2nd. My brother's gunna take it a part (he builds trucks and motors) and see if it's too radical for the car, and if it is he'll see if he can make it compatible with the car. We'll put in a 125 shot of nitrous in it, if we use the stroker we might put in a 200 shot instead. The guy we bought the stroker from also has a 327, so if the stroker won't work we'll get that. Then we'll dyno the stroker and sell it.
