ok, I am now looking for a 5th gen civic hatch because the wrecked 4 door was too bad.

anyways, I plan to build a crvtec before anything else.

tell me what you think about this setup

B20b block (will the old lude si b20A work?)
B16a head
crower 4340 steel billlet rods (how much power can the econo billet
handle? 300 cheaper)
JE 10.5:1 compression pistons (does octane booster work good at all?
would buying supreme 92 and using octane booster, is 12.5:1
safe?)
AEM cam gears(anyone experiance slippage of the bolts, crower says
they use 4 bolts to prevent slippage in other brands, AEM
makes better stuff than that dont they)
maybe a cam but i doubt it
ford racing 30 lb/hr feul injectors (bore out fuel rail for larger o ring)
since I wont be revving too high Ill leave the valvetrain alone (but if
some parts need replacing I bet honda stock parts arent
much cheaper than atermarket)
new bearings and rings
AEM V2 CAI(I should get the one for my head since they are tuned right)
DC sports 4-2-1 headers
Exhaust (friends muffler shop)
MSD ignition
NX wet kit 100 shot (If i do this its 10.5:1cr for sure

and control it with apexi VAFC and si computer until I decide what computer to use. where can i find info on the hondata I keep reading about on this board)

also anyoine have klinks to pages with detailed pics about running the lines, etc...

well i know that with the ls vtec the comp ratio is jumped up because of the head, take that into account when picking comp ratio picking. also the b20 will work but i would not recommend using it, dont use it.
u can run 12.5:1 but you need it to be perfectly tune, so in other words, its too high

people say that u should resleeve the b20 block.

you mean b20a right, if i dont use some kind of b20, i cant build the engine at all.

and come on, more people have oppinions dont they?
and in a 94 hatch, after some tuning I could hit low 13's you think?

you should hit 13s in a crvtec hatch. but dont use the b20a, use the new crv motors which are b20 also. that old b20 has a horrible rod ratio so it sucks. use the new b20s, the crv motors. i think they are the b20b and b20z for the crv motors
