I have a 2001 Century and this morning I went and started it and turned the blower to high, worked fine, went back out to scrape windows and the blower wasnt on at all, wouldnt work in any setting, high thru low, just quit. Checked the fuses I could find and they were all good. What else could this be??????

Did you check for 12 volts at the respective fuse sockets? If thats good then possibility of the climate control unit, blower motor resistor if a manual HVAC or the blower motor.

Could easily be a bad blower motor. Tried to run for a bit than resistance in the motor became too high. Either its an output control issue from the climate control or tis the motor. Just use a test light on check for a power to the blower motor at all speeds. If you have power, than its the motor. You can also use long jumpers to connect positiv and negative directly to the blower motor terminals < make sure to disconnect harness> If motor runs fine, than its the climate control or wiring.

There's a green circuit board near the motor that is notorious on these vehicles. It's a resistance control system that lets the motor operate at different speeds. So if you're NOT getting any voltage to the motor, then that's the first thing I'd replace. It's about $30 for a new circuit board. If it's the temperature control system, be prepared for $300 or so.

The resistor control pack only controls all speeds up to full. The system defaults and will work on full speed if this pack goes. Its a safety measure to make sure the defroster still works at full speed.
