Ok...... I have one wire that goes to my ICM that is open/split. I have electric tape covering it. But was wondering should I put more electircal tape on it to make sure its closed or cut the plug in off and splice in new plug with the right type of connectors or do i need to replace the wiring all together? I use to get a code forgot what the Pcode was but it said open/short circuit to ICM or something like that and another code. I put in a different ECM and it took those codes away but new code came up. I forgot what that code was. But I just want to double check and make sure that its not the same problem. Ive posted other bullentins awhile back with the codes but I dont know how to look my old postings up.

You could cut the respective wire, solder and then use heatshrink which will be better.
Also, you can replace the whole ICM wiring harness and electrical connector intact without replacing the compete harness PCM wiring harness. The ICM wiring harness is just a short section and has the wiring and connectors to the crank and cam position sensors.
