had it for about 7 months now,60k miles.. ran like new. winter hits and when i start it up, it run extremly rough for a few minutes, once its warm is smooth again.

anyways, the real problem is a few days ago i went out to move the van to the other side of the street, started it, it ran very rough again for about 10 seconds, stalled and hasnt been able to restart since.

it turns over strong, and sounds like its trying to start, but never does.... i thought i may be fozen fuel lines, but its been above freezing a few times this week, and no change, also the coldest its gotten is about 20.

i pulled the sparkplugs (well 4 of them, got a foot of snow) and they were soaked right after a start attempt.

i have one idea left that maybe there is some moisture in the distributor, but my nieghbor says that shouldnt be the problem.

and now im out of ideas, and gettting very frustrated :banghead:

Use a 12 volt test light and install on the coil negative have somebody else try to start the truck if the light blinks. Remove the module on the side of the distributor Auto Zone or Advanced Auto will test for free. If the test light doesn't blink replace the pickup in the distributor. If you don't have a tool buy a junk yard or rebuilt distributor.
Inspect the rotor and cap before testing.
