The new mini cooper s makes 163 horsepower and weighs 2513 pounds that equals 0-60 in 6.9 ticks thats pretty fast but german formula in oregeon is producing a stage I kit that makes 180-225 hp a stage II that makes 250-275hp without engine mods and a stage III that makes up to 400hp with mods :frog: so thats what i call a fun car!!!:D

I am a sales rep. at BMW of MURRAY for the MINI Cooper and Cooper S. I am posting this because I have received a lot of calls from frustrated MINI enthusiasts regarding the service from their local dealers. Hopefully this information will help those people.
Our list is the shortest I know of and we are selling both models at MSRP if anyone is interested in getting into one. I work every day of the week and would be happy to provide information on these great cars. Let me know if I can help. As of today we have 140 people on the list. Each week someone waits, it puts their car out about 1 month. That should increase exponentially over the next few months. So if you want to get into the car, let me know. My name is Christian. You can reach me at (801) 262-2479 ext. 190 If I am busy, leave a message, and I WILL call you back. :jump:

Hello,
I am in SLC and was told that the wait for a Cooper S is over 7 months. I called a few dealers around the country most of whom offered me cars within 30 days and 60 days if I wanted to order my car. It is very hard and frustrating. I sell cars and our waiting lists are so long most people will never see a new car from us. I know how everyone feels and from a dealer standpoint it is really hard to keep everyone happy. So all you can do is call around and see if you get lucky. The guys at BMW of Murray seem to be pretty good guys...These Coopers are a hell of a lot of fun to drive. I cant wait to get mine put a coil over Koni suspension on it and a few other select mods and do a bonzai run up some local canyons...
