strange things

I've got a 93 Z28 and i've got some weird shit going on with my ride. starting off ( i won't bother everyone with the simple stuff) my cruise started acting up not working or working when it wanted to then it went to not working at all then all the sudden it works fine and has for the last 6 or 8 months then my turn signals went apeshit I'd turn on the right one and the left one activated and after about 2 months of that they completely went AWOL and don't work unless i'm on the brakelights and manually blink them. I can find a hazard flasher under the dash but there is no turn flasher unit where chiltons says it should be. I do not have a horn or backup light fuse in the fusepanel and my horn doesn't work but my backup lights do work.

the list keeps going on but I've got to get ready for work, I'll add some more strange things later but this may get me some answers to get me started in the right direction.

BTW the car only has 122,xxx miles on it a litle young for screwing up like this i think with no logged codes or SEL's.

any help would be appreciated!

i would assume that the problem it the multi-function switch itself that is the cause of the problems. you may have to replace the entire stalk.

just finished installing multiswitch with no improvement but i found more weird shit tonight i decided to put the horn fuse in it and the horn works fine but i can leave the car alone for about 5 minutes with the key in my pocket and the radio will turn itself back on and stay on for about 10 minutes and then turn back off i can open the door while it's on and it turns off but if you leave it alone it turns back on.

also isn't this car (93 year model) supposed to have a speed limiter at 110 or so, because mine does not mine has no problem wrapping the dash up and begging for more.

it's getting just plain freaky with this car, i decided to leave the fuse out so the radio doesn't kill my battery but i have no horn and still no turn signals besides manually blinking brakelights

No, the Z28 will not have a speed limiter. The only cars with the limiter were the ones that did not come with Z speed rated tires from the factory.

sounds like you might have a ground problem. it will try to seek a ground through other systems and will make everything go crazy....
