Hello everyone

I'm looking for any tips on how the replace a lost piece. The piece is the gas cover the the Tamiya Williams BMW FW24. I simply cannot find it. Lost somewhere in my basement (My spray area). I've been thinking maybe thick paper or carve a piece out of my old discarded pieces. Any ideas?

can you post a pic of the missing piece? maybe from the instruction sheet? if its simple enough (not much details), you can probably scratchbuild it from thin styrene sheets

seriously, do you really need to ask this?

Sheet styrene.
Cut shape to match (make a few as you'll want to laminate) , curve as neccessary, sand to define shapes/detail.
Done.

eh...styrene is what most of our plastic kits are made of....
You can buy scratch building styrene in sheets of various thicknesses in most hobby stores.
