2000 regal coolant leak, back left on engine

I have a coolant leak in the back left area of my 3800 engine and it's not the water pump. It seems to start somewhere behind the alternator. Any ideas?

Welcome to AF.
To start that area is classified the right side of the engine. Check the two coolant hoses that go from the tensioner assembly to the firewall and heater core. Also, check the two coolant bypass plastic elbows at the tensioner assembly to the water pump and lower intake manifold.

Is there any chance that the lower intake could be leaking there? Can you give me a picture of the tensioner assembly or show me where the two coolant hoses are that you are talking about.

LIM is always possible so a close visual inspection is needed.
The pic below shows the tensioner assembly and the two heater hoses that go to the firewall and heater core. The alternator has been removed. Also, shown is the bypass elbow to the water pump. The red indicates the location of the three tensioner bolts. The other coolant bypass elbow goes from the tensioner to the lower intake manifold which can be easily seen.
