Does anyone know where I can get a great deal on AXIS WHEELS??

I actually did that already. It turned up a shop here in Houston. So I contacted them and they quoted me about $1000 more then all these other places. And this place is supose to be "wholesale." Anyways, I told them that I'm finding better prices other places since they have a price guarantee. I explain to him that I've seen the wheels advertised for alot less then his price and ask why that is? I even give him a few website addresses off the top of my head for him to verify his price was too much. He says he'll take a look and get back with me. He also explains that if he sells me the wheels any cheaper, he will be loosing money.
So, I haven't heard back from him yet, but I was curious why advertise, "We at ________ want to make sure you feel good when you buy something from us. If you find a better price, please let us know, we meet and BEAT all competitors prices!" They also say "WE WILL NOT BE UNDERSOLD" :rolleyes:
So, isn't this false advertisement or something? Not that I want to make it a big deal, nor would I take any legal action, but isn't this wrong? :confused:

I did, I called when I was at work and asked about the wheels. I told him they were new. He knew about the wheels I was talking about, even described them for me. He just said they don't have them. So I asked if they could get them(nicely). He said no, the wheels aren't out yet, only on Axis Website for viewing? :bandit:

Wheelmax sucks and they don't carry Axis anymore according to the guy I talked to today. :bloated:

Go to www.spyeng.com they have the best deals on axis ive seen so far. thats where i got my axis hagens and the people that work there are really cool and they always have stuff in stock. i would go there before anywhere else.

spyeng.com was decent... guys were nice, but i found a hell of a lot cheaper price at street dreams. http://www.streetdreams.org/nobody really comes close to them on price. i shopped for about 3 solid months before buying too. most of their wheels seem a little more "bling bling" than my liking, but they do have some decent racing apps there.. racing hart, axis, g-racing, tsw, enkei, rss, etc.
