1997 Taurus with break power steering line

No power steering so I added fluid and turned the wheel and found that there was a line broken.
At the end of the line is a about a 2-3 inch long "metal tube" which looks like where the line is supposed to attach to something?
Broken contact point for the rack?
I can take a picture if it would help...

I believe the 96,97, and 98 are the same.

They have quite a few listed, but most are $80 +
If the line is broken, replace it. I had one welded together once and it broke a couple years later when I was on vacation and far away from my tools.
