93 Mitsubishi Eclipse

After driving about five miles and then putting it in park my Eclipse "surges". If I turn the car off then restart the vehicle it idles as normal. Any suggestions please.

My old 91 Eclipse had that same problem.It had a few bad sensors.
Check your Idle Control and TPS.My Eclipse would drink the hell outta some gas while idling and babying it but if you ran the shit out of it.It wouldnt use much gas it never made any sense.
