i have a 2001 nissan sentra, and when i turn the steering wheel my car turns seconds after in turn the wheel, i call i delayed turning.how much could something like this cost?

It is very difficult to say just by reading your description about the exact nature of the problem. However, I guess it may be the steering fluid pump problem.

Did you check the steering fluid level? Also, did you notice any leak near around steering pinion under the car?
