97 Keyless Entry question

Hello everyone! I have a 97 lumina with factory keyless entry. However, unlike most cars, when locking there isn't really any indication that the doors actually locked. Is there a way to make the horn beep when the doors are locked like on most vehicles with a similar system... or is that just not available for that year's model?

i know that in many of GM's older keyless systems there is no indication of wether the doors lock or not. The best way is to check your self. I have a 95 lumina with oem keyless and it has no indication. I am not sure if there is a way or not but i hope this helpes
