ETS Off Check Engine

Have 1996 Cavalier. When driving home tonight the dashboard display came up with ETS off and Check Engine. Any ideas what that could be.

Need more information, but I would recommend having the code checked on your computer then post the codes here.

Was it raining or snowing? ETS will stay on if you spin tires for a few sec. I have a 97 cav I bought it new and has 170k now, ETS light has come on 2-3 times but resets. To reset codes turn the ignition to the on and off position 5 times, then start it. This works on check engine light too(just about every time it rains hard).
