I just had this car in for repair today. They replaced the Pressure Control Solenoid, after they did a diagnostic, and it showed the code p1811. It also showed another code (can not remember this one), but essentially it is saying that the car is not warming up, and they believe that it is a bad thermostat. Also they said that the serpentine belt needs to be replaced. I know that on this forum is probably step by step instructions on how to replace the thermostat and the belt, but I can not find it. Can anyone out there give me step by step instructions, if so I would greatly appreciate it.
Thank you!!
Thank you!!

What motor do you have in your GP? 3100 or 3800?

the t-stat in the 3800 is about the easiest you'll ever change.
Thermostat Replacement '97-'03 with SII 3800 Engine (http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=652667)
We dont have a procedure in our subforum for the drive belt removal. You can try here (http://www.autozone.com/addVehicleId,2741102/initialAction,repairGuide/shopping/repairGuide.htm?pageId=0900c152800a326c) and scroll to the 3.8 motor. YOu'll need a 15mm wrench on the tensioner. I always have to remove the strut tower brace (three 13mm bolts) and the coolant overflow bottle (2 10mm nuts).
