Just won and received a Tamiya Martini Porsche 935 Turbo (24001) on ebay. It was vintage Tamiya (not a re-issue) and it was in pristine condition, even came with a motor. One drawback, and a major one at that was that the bodyshell was completely missing. What do you think of my chances of getting another bodyshell? I know that Tamiya re-issued it before.

No, I didn't. I did contact the seller who said she would have a look for me the next time she goes up to the loft to bring out the next load of kits to sell.

I put a maximum bid of £20. It hung around at £8, then some 2 extra bis went in just before the end and I was lumped with paying my max bid!!

Ebay is a dangerous game!!

Ebay is a dangerous game!!

I've had over 100 satisfactory transactions on Ebay, you need to demand a refund or your seller should correct that as soon as possible!

That's for the 1/12 version, I think Kar is talking about the 1/24, right?

Yup, I'm refering to the 1/24th kit. I've contacted the seller again and she has no idea what I'm talking about, but would endeavour to look for it again.

Thing is I have bought from her before and had no problems. To be fair to her, she did admit to knowing next to nothing about kits. As she put it:

'I'm not a car collector, just clearing the family loft'.

The thing is, when you get kicked out by your wife for whatever reason, make sure you take your kits with you. Build and unbuild. :smoka: :D
