power door lock actuators for 96

Not doing the job in the cold temps. Lubed up the whole mechanism, rods guides etc & might be the lock is actually worn out..& binding.
PDLA seems to work good when I checked it out (or after the van's been heated) but happens when the boss uses it..on mornings. I haven't tried it then.
Anyway..checked it out on ebay & seems there are 2 diff ones. Up to 93 & then 94 on.
Earlier ones are ~ 30 bucks & later ones ~2x more. Dunno if this is an upgraded part situation or if fit comes into it also.
Will an earlier PDLA bolt into a 96? tia
