1996 Explorer low beam issue...

Hello All,

I a have a '96 Explorer, Eddie Bauer, 5.0, AWD. My driver side, low beam light is not working. I changed the lamp and still not working. I checked the socket with a multi-meter and found that I am not receiving any voltage to this side. The right side is OK. #4 Fuse is good as well.

I would like to check the LOM but I am not sure how to. I attempted and found myself a bit confused. Is there a site or info to walk me through this procedure, possibly with images? Would there also be one for the Headlight Switch just in case?

Is there anything else that I should be aware of?

Just a note, I can only work on the Bauer on weekends so be patient if I don't respond back immediately.

Thank you in advance.

I don't think it is the LCM. You need to trace the wiring to see where it is losing connection. See if you can find the connection below and look at pin 5. That is your left low beam.
