I have bought an intake (short ram) a while ago now and I just realized that I had the blue tube installed wrong. there was a black hose coming out of the engine, so I plugged the blue tube into that and have been running it like that ever since and taped up the second hole in the intake. I just saw on a pic on a post here that a sensor or something gets plugged into there but I am wondering where that sensor is. Here is a pic. and also, there are like 2 metal hoses connected together. 1 was what the blue tube replaced. the second one I dont know what its doing.. it goes from the cam to the bottom of the engine.. the thing is that they are kinda stuck together so now that old hose is just there doing nothing.. is that normal? and installing these hoses and sensors wrong, could it impact my performance?

The black hose that you disconnected from the stock intake is a breather hose - it's welded to a coolant line. That's what's running from the cam to the bottom of the engine. It has nothing to do with your intake now that you've disconnected the breather hose. Your new breather hose is the blue hose you have connected. Is your intake a generic intake, or is it specifically made for your vehicle? I have an AEM CAI installed in my car, and the intake only has one opening for the breather hose to attach to. I'd say that your installation is correct - as long as you have the other hole plugged up firmly, you should be fine. But perhaps someone else should confirm (or deny) this.
