Anyways, I really didnt like the stock location, so I moved it down on the bumper. Used a small drill to drill 3 holes into the bumper, and then used sheet metal screws to attach it. Looks pretty good.

Glad I live in a one-plate state! When it's 110 degrees, I need all the air I can get coming through the radiator!

AND we don't have ANY inspection law here!

A lot of my friends mob with em off, but seeing as I get pulled over for stupid shit all the time it pays to be legal ... plus it never really gets that hot here

Well I really didnt like the stock location because of the way the plate just kinda hangs there. Now it is more flush and in line with the bumper. I would have mounted it in the middle if I could have, but there was nothing to screw the top of the plate into.

 I have two holes in the bumper to bolt the plate to, and there is a bracket that sticks out of the bumper that goes down to the bottom two holes of the plate that you bolt the bottom of the plate to so it is sturdy. I have seen a lot of those brackets broken or bent tho. :bloated:

I have to put mine back on so I'm moving it down and to the driver side, JDM style.

Lots of people do that here too, but in my opinion it reduces your visibitily of the road, and can be bad if you are ever in an accident

Sort of where yours is but the 88-89 bumper is different so mine seems to have more place I could drill into.

i was gonna make a braket to put it under the corner light, but never got to it...... so it stay'd in the center part of the bumper but on the drivers side.... as you can see in the pics in my sig......

what are the legalities of keeping your plate in the window?

its probly different over there.
i so wanna move to one of them single plate states. :D

we have really quite strict number plate laws in hte uk.

it sucks cause i really ahte how the huge ass plate spoils the look of the front of the car.

That guy has it in a similar spot. I want mine to the right but still around the air dam area because all the way on the side looks like wind would rip if off.
