oil pan problems

i have a march 93 eagle talon 4g63 engine and i can not find an oil pan that will fit on it the one i have came off a 93 but the front case on my engine dips more than the oil pan on the damper side of the block. ive asked every dealership in spokane and they dont have a clue any help would be awsome.

Hi and welcome to AF!
From 92 or 93 and up, Mitsubishi switched from using a 6-bolt motor to a 7-bolt motor. One difference between the 2 is the oil pan. I'm going to try to find pics of both but a 4g63 guy man beat me to the answer, because I'm not sure which ones is laid out like that.

The later (7bolt) oil pan bumps Inward. Early (6bot) bumps Outward. Hope that helps.

so thats what every one keeps telling me but the problem is i have that pan that it shows with the dip in it but my engine dips about 3/4 inch instead of the half inch that the pan has so im still screwed but thanks

So the block itself goes down 3/4", where as the oil pan goes down 1/2"?

its the front case that sticks down that far. im taking the engine out right now. sorry about the typing. but to be exact the dip is 3 1/4 cm dip.
