Hi
I have a 96 ford escort, 4 Pioneer speakers plus a aftermarket sony deck thats 40x4. I'm thinking of adding an extra 2 speakers, I'm just wondering how i would go amongst doing that with out getting any distortions or have to add an amp.

that might be difficult because you would be driving one of the amp pairs with a 2 ohm load. Why do you need 3 set of speakers in your car ?

It really depends on the power output, how much money you're willing to spend, and what quality you like. I have all stock speakers and 2 Audiobahn 12" subs in enclosed boxes, and I couldnt be happier. Great lows, equal highs, it's not bad. I am thinking of upgrading the stock speakers, but im not 100% sure.
Anyways. (I rant alot)
Like I said. It's all about what YOU want.

You'd probably wreck your HU if you tried that. It would be better to get an external amp to do that sort of thing although there wouldn't be much point. Most cars with "6 speakers" tend to be 4 midbass and 2 tweeters so you could just a get a component set which would wire together without changing your amp load.
