How much does a car's tires turn?

I'm looking for a degree value (maximum left or right from straight) to compare to my design I'm engineering right now. I know it may vary car to car, so a few values or an average would be great!

Do you mean from center to lock from straight in degrees, not very clear here. If so it varies car to car.

When doing a standard wheel alignment, on the fronts the common practice is to turn the wheel in 20 degrees, zero out the gage, turn it out 20 degrees and you take that as your caster reading.
So I'll say, 20 degrees either way is a ball park figure.
