Hi, I drive a 1990 Century with a 3.3 engine/auto transmission and just spent $550.to pass inspection, on wobbly tilt steering wheel, a motor mount and LFbrake line. I'm driving for a couple of hours and the speedometer stops working. Something they did or just bad luck? Yes, they did the inspection and repair but I felt it was a fair price. Thanks for your help.

Most likely is that the wire is loose.
In older cars the speedo just came off with a twist.
Make sure it is snug to the speedo.
I can't think how you got the motor mount to break??????
Cheers

If it was the motor mount under the timing cover on the passenger side, they probably knocked the VSS connector off (or broke it) when they dropped the cradle to change it.
