Cold Feet 99 alero 3.4

It’s turned cold here in the south and on my 99 alero I’ve been having trouble with getting heat.
I changed the thermostat, flushed the water system, cleaned some gunk out of the water lines, and replace with fresh new antifreeze. Now I am getting heat from the defroster and the vents but on cold mornings like today when I select to the foot warming side of the control dial, the air blows out not hot; only slightly warm. The temp indication on the dash gauge is OK. I can’t figure out why the defrost and vent side move nice warm air but not out of the floor side. I have a new blower fan resistor to install because I read on here in other threads that when the 1 and 2 positions on the blower fan doesn’t work. A new resistor is the fix. I'm having that problem as well. Will this resister also fix the foot warmer selection problem I am experiencing??? Thanks in advance for your help.

Sorry, the resistor will not fix your cold feet problem, but it will fix the missing 1 and 2 fan speeds. I don't know about how to fix the cold feet problem, sorry.
